The new directors of PortosRio, responsible for managing the ports of Rio de Janeiro, Itaguaí, Niterói and Angra dos Reis, took office this Monday (17th), at a meeting of the company's Board of Directors (CONSAD). Alvaro Luiz Savio will lead the Port Authority as CEO, while Ronaldo Fucci will assume the Port Management Board. Ana Beatriz Leal will take care of the Administration and Finance Board, and Eduardo Marinho will be in charge of the Business and Sustainability Board. All four nominees have extensive experience in the areas in which they will work.

Alvaro Luiz Savio, an economist who served as director of Port Management at the company between 2000 and 2002 and remained in the port area until 2014, also has experience at the Paulista Investment Attraction Agency (Investe SP), having been administrative-financial director in 2015 and 2016 and interim president in 2017 and 2018. More recently, he served as undersecretary general of the Treasury Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Ronaldo Fucci, another economist on the team, is a specialist in ports and dredging, with experience as commercial director of Companhia Brasileira de Dragagem, from 1978 to 1985, and as director-president of Enavi Reparos Navais Industrial, from 1985 to 2000. 20 years, worked as commercial director of China Communications Construction Company.

Ana Beatriz Leal is a business administrator with a specialization in public policies and a master's degree in public administration, who stands out as an organizational transformer, focusing on improving structures, teams and projects. She has been working in the areas of Planning for the State of Rio de Janeiro and Public Security for 20 years, including the planning of major events. Since 2021, she has been a special advisor for Management Modernization, at the Civil Police Secretary of State. Ana has also held the position of undersecretary of the Civil House of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Eduardo Marinho, who holds a degree in Accounting Sciences, an MBA in Transport Regulation and a postgraduate degree in Finance, worked at Empresa de Portos do Brasil (Portobras) from 1976 to 1989 and continued in the port area in the following years. He was also CEO of Portus Instituto de Seguridade Social from 2002 to 2003 and from 2007 to 2011. Since then, he has acted as a business consultant.
