Pré-Sal Petróleo (PPSA) sent an invitation letter this Wednesday, February 6, to all companies operating in the pre-salt area, as well as PRIO, Brava Energia, and the Mataripe Refinery, for a new spot sale process to be held on March 12 to market Union oil cargoes from the Itapu and Sépia fields.

The sale will be divided into two lots: the first with a supply of 1 million barrels from Itapu, expected to be loaded by July, and the second with an estimated 2.5 million barrels from Sépia, with loading expected between May and August.

This is PPSA's first commercialization in 2025. The offered prices will be referenced to dated Brent and will only be disclosed in a meeting with the participation of all bidders.

At the same time, the company is working on organizing the 5th Union Oil Auction, scheduled for June 25 at B3. Approximately 78 million barrels of Union oil from the production of the Mero, Búzios, Sépia, Itapu, and Norte de Carcará fields are expected to be marketed. These volumes represent current estimates of the Union’s oil share in 2025 and 2026 for these fields and may be revised until the publication of the auction notice, expected in the coming months, for a more refined projection.
