The ANP published today (25/3) the pre-announcement and draft contract of the 16th Round of Bids of Exploratory Blocks, scheduled to be held on October 10. The documents will be in public consultation until 9/4 and the public hearing will be held on 10/4 at the ANP Central Office in Rio de Janeiro.

Among the main changes related to the 15th Round Notice, the changes resulting from the beginning of the use of the Electronic Information System (SEI) in the rounds of ANP bids are highlighted, with the inclusion of new procedures and guidelines for bidders to submit documents to participate in the event.

Today also begins the deadline for payment of the participation fee and for registration in the round, which closes on 20/8.

The 16th Round will offer 36 blocks in five sedimentary basins (Campos, Camamu-Almada, Jacuípe, Pernambuco-Paraíba and Santos), with a total area of 29.3 thousand km². One of the highlights is the block C-M-541, in the Campos Basin, with a minimum signing bonus of R $ 1,375,229,000.00. The signing of the concession contracts resulting from the round is scheduled for February 2020.
