Premier Oil has discovered oil and gas with a well on the Kuda Laut structure in the Tuna production-sharing contract (PSC) offshore Indonesia.

Kuda Laut-1 intersected 183 ft (56 m) of net oil-bearing reservoir and 327 ft (99.7 m) of net gas-bearing reservoir. Oil and gas samples have been recovered to the surface.

The well will be side tracked to drill the Singa Laut prospect in the adjacent fault block. 

Premier continues drilling on Natuna Sea block A PSC on the Ratu Gajah-1 exploration well. It plans to issue the results next month.
