The National Confederation of Industry (CNI) congratulated the new mayors of the Chamber, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), in a note released on Monday night (1st). In the note, the organization points out that the main challenge for the two new presidents will be to vote and approve urgent agendas, in particular tax and administrative reforms.
“Only with the implementation of structural reforms will it be possible to reduce the Brazilian Cost, improve the country's business environment, attract investments and generate more jobs and income for the population”, said the president of CNI, Robson Braga de Andrade.
For Andrade, the performance of the National Congress is fundamental for Brazil to find adequate solutions to the severe health and economic crisis faced by the country due to the pandemic.
