Rio Oil & Gas extended until November 7th the deadline for submission of extended synopses. With more than 550 technical works presented in its latest edition, the event is recognized as the largest business and knowledge generation platform in the O&G industry in Latin America. The conference will debut in a hybrid format - with part of the programming online and part in person, directly from Pier Mauá, port region of Rio de Janeiro - between 26 and 29 September 2022.

Papers and cases can be submitted in four thematic axes: Upstream, Midstream & Downstream, Natural Gas & Energy and Industry of the Future, the latter one of the new features of the edition. Authors can also tag their technical contributions with one of the following transversal contents: ESG, Energy Transition and Digital Transformation.

The selected works may be presented in face-to-face and digital formats, in addition to competing for honorable mentions and the Plinio Cantanhede award, given to the best technical work at the congress. They will also be published in the IBP's online library - which has received more than 150,000 visits since the 2020 edition -, with ISSN and DOI records, which allow for potential indexing in international scientific bases of recognized study and research partner centers.

Access the event's website and check, in the Author's Area, the guide with information on the topic, dates and guidelines on sending synopses.

Rio Oil & Gas is sponsored by Petrobras, Equinor, Shell, Vibra, Ipiranga, bp, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Raízen, Modec, TotalEnergies, 3R Petroleum, Petrogal, RepsolSinopec Brasil, Siemens Energy, Braskem, Enauta, PetroRio, SalesForce, Dow , NTS, Oracle, Solvay, TBG, Techint, Vallourec and Wintershall DEA, in addition to the participation of the Federal Government.
