Until February 28, the call for works is open for Rio Oil & Gas, the largest oil and gas event in Latin America, which will take place from September 21 to 24, 2020, in Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro. . In its 20th edition, the conference is the largest business and knowledge platform in the industry, bringing together the main national and international companies in the segment, authorities, academia, associations and civil society.

Under the motto “Energy for a changing world”, the event brought changes in the theme. In this first phase, interested parties may submit their extended synopses on the following topics: Exploration and Production; Offshore, Midstream and Downstream; Natural gas; Digital transformation; Management and Leadership; and Energy Transition, one of the news of the edition. Selected projects may be presented in oral and digital poster formats.

The papers presented at the congress will compete for honorable mentions and will be published in IBP's online library, with ISSN registration, and in libraries of universities and partner companies, and may be indexed in international scientific bases. The authors may also compete for the Plínio Cantanhede Prize, presented for the best technical paper presented at an IBP event.
