Sebrae has prepared a special program for the celebration of International Women's Day, celebrated next Monday, March 8. The president of Sebrae, Carlos Melles, will open the event online, with the launch of the unprecedented partnership between Sebrae and Maurício de Sousa Produções (MSP) and UN Women. The initiative will count with the presence of the UN Women representative in Brazil, Anastasia Divinskaya, and the executive director MSP, Mônica Sousa. In the sequence, three panels will be held focused on themes related to the digitalization of micro and small businesses and female entrepreneurship. The technical director of Sebrae, Bruno Quick, and the director of administration and finance, Eduardo Diogo will participate. The transmission will be made on the Sebrae channel on Youtube, starting at 10am.

The union of Sebrae with Maurício de Sousa Produções aims to reverberate comic books on various topics involving female entrepreneurship. Through the high popularity of the characters, issues such as girls and leadership and girls and Innovation will be addressed in the stories. For a year, every month, Turma da Mônica magazines will bring a page with comics that talk about female entrepreneurship.

The president of Sebrae, Carlos Melles, believes that the partnership will be an opportunity to encourage, from an early age, the engagement of women with entrepreneurship. “Turma da Mônica is a national unanimity, the comics are read by children, youth and adults. Through this space, we will insert topics that are still taboo, we will show the difficulties and solutions that are faced by women in the management of their businesses. All of this, with an easy, dynamic and fun language. It is a way of raising the agendas of female entrepreneurship within the family context. The partnership reinforces Sebrae's commitment to strengthening micro and small businesses, in its most varied areas of activity, ”says Melles.

Webseries

Another launch, carried out by Sebrae on Women's Day, is the second season of the Sebrae Delas web series. The material, in the mini-documentary style, brings inspiring stories from entrepreneurs from the north to the south of the country. In the video, women tell how they have faced the crisis and reinvented their businesses in the face of the pandemic. The Sebrae Delas project will also gain a page on the Sebrae portal with content. In addition, there will be panels with national and international experts on female entrepreneurship. “How do I communicate with my customers? Language and social networks to increase sales ”will be attended by the CEO of Wakanda Educação and Forbes Under 30, Karine Oliveira, the UN Women specialist, Tayná Leite, and the Moving Girls CEO, Camila Vidal.

With the opening of the technical director of Sebrae, Bruno Quick, the panel “Your digital business: from idea to first investment”, will have the presence of WE Ventures Fund CIO, Marcella Ceva, Lady Driver founder, Gabryella Corrêa and CEO from Buzzfeed Brasil, Viviane Duarte. Following, with the participation of the Director of Administration and Finance of Sebrae, Eduardo Diogo, the panel “Uncomplicated electronic commerce and women's network” will bring the creator of the Women's Movement in E-commerce, Carol Moreno, the CEO of Pretahub, Adriana Barbosa and the co-founder of Unbox, Gabriela Alves.
