Between October 24 and 26, TotalEnergies will be present at another edition of OTC Brazil 2023. The company will showcase its multi-energy portfolio and the technologies it is developing in Brazil and worldwide, aimed at new energy sources and emissions reduction, highlighting its ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 in its global business.

During the three-day event, TotalEnergies representatives will participate in the main congress panels, discussing opportunities and prospects for offshore exploration in Brazil, sector digitalization, disruptive projects for emissions reduction, and industry advancements to drive the energy transition. Additionally, the company will have a 130-square-meter booth on the event's first floor, where they will host 16 open lectures for the public attending the fair. Key topics will include the joint venture with Casa dos Ventos, TotalEnergies' vision for electrical systems in oil and gas operations, their Lapa Sudoeste project launched in 2023, challenges in the Brazilian offshore wind sector, and more.

"Participating in OTC Brazil is an excellent opportunity to discuss sustainable energy transition pathways with key industry players, demonstrating how focused we are on developing technologies that enable increased production, cost reduction, and emissions reduction," emphasizes Charles Fernandes, General Director of TotalEnergies in Brazil. "Annually, we invest approximately $1 billion worldwide in research and development and innovation. In Brazil alone, we allocate over R$400 million to 80 research, development, and innovation projects, with almost 50% of the total dedicated to new energy sources and emissions reduction," he adds.
