Operators Trident Energy and Petrobras are gearing up to provide their expert insights for attendees at the upcoming Offshore Well Intervention Latin America conference (OWI LATAM), arriving in Rio, Brazil, from 18-19 October.
Petrobras will be showcasing the full range of its expertise with a trio of presentations.
First, Plug & Abandonment Advisor Marcelo Victor Tomaz de Matos will be providing an update on the company’s P&A workscope as it prepares for the upcoming decommissioning wave.
Reliability and Risk Assessment Advisor Danilo Colombo will follow his colleague by presenting on risk-based decisions in well integrity, where he will establish how the company has used the MyBarrier platform to improve its integrity management.
Finally, Rafael Rodriguez Fulco, Manager for Rigs Technology and Wells Reliability, will provide an expert session on riserless well intervention where he will evaluate a Brazilian P&A and workover scenario for riserless intervention.
From Trident Energy, one of the many operators participating at the conference, Wells Integrity Lead, Rafael Purificação, will compare current monitoring and testing methods to ensure barrier verification for well integrity and establish the acceptance criteria for new technologies.
This presentation will go hand-in-hand with the return of the Technology Showcase Hall where Latin America’s innovative service providers will have the chance to present their technologies and build new opportunities.
These are just some of the many attractions which are encouraging the offshore community to flock to Rio for Latin America’s leading offshore well intervention forum.
