This recognition was granted by PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), the leading independent testing laboratory in the global solar industry.

Trina Solar is one of only two manufacturers of photovoltaic modules with global reach to be recognized for the sixth consecutive time since the title of "Best Performance" was established.

This recognition is based on the results of the Product Qualification Program (PQP), presented in the PV Module 2020 Reliability Performance Table, published by PVEL. These results have been verified over 18 months up to that year. Focused on evaluating the performance of PV modules in terms of thermal cycles, wet heat, dynamic mechanical load, eventual degradation caused, PAN file, etc. the PQP was created in order to independently recognize manufacturers that surpass their competitors in terms of product quality and durability. The PQP also offers safety and performance data that are consistent and independently generated, thereby helping to maintain the efficiency of supplier management by buyers of PV equipment and investors in power plants.
