Tomorrow (11/25), ANP will hold the V Operational Safety and Environment Workshop for Land Installations (SOMAT). The event will be online and will start at 9 am as part of the Mossoró Oil & Gas Expo. (The event will be in Portuguese and without translation)

At the event, the Agency will present the main aspects related to its operational safety regulations for the terrestrial environment, considering the context of the moment, in addition to issues related to the measurement of oil and natural gas production.

In view of Petrobras' divestment process and other rights assignment processes, SOMAT's focus this year will be on ensuring operational security in changes to operators in onshore production fields. The opening will be held by the acting general director of the ANP, Raphael Moura, and the program will also include the participation of state environmental agencies and land operators.
