All stages of the operationalization of royalty distribution by ANP, related to December 2024 production for concession and transfer-of-rights contracts, were completed this Thursday (February 20).
The amount directly transferred to states was R$ 910,184,785.65, while municipalities received R$ 1,111,935,269.31. In terms of beneficiaries, funds were distributed to 738 municipalities and 11 states.
In addition to these federal entities, a portion of the royalties determined by the Agency was allocated to the Federal Government and the Special Fund, in accordance with current legislation.

Regarding royalties from production sharing contracts related to December 2024 production, funds will be made available to beneficiaries as soon as all necessary operational stages are completed.
ANP is responsible for calculating, determining, and distributing royalties to beneficiary entities (Federal Government, States, and Municipalities). Royalties are distributed based on various criteria established by:
The Agency prioritizes full transparency regarding the resources distributed to beneficiaries, as well as the rigorous execution of operational stages essential to the complex national royalty distribution process.
There is no fixed date for royalty payments, as per applicable legislation. However, ANP is committed to ensuring that royalty revenues reach beneficiaries as quickly as possible.
