The 2025 edition of Vitória Petroshow exceeded all expectations and solidified its position as the main meeting point for the oil and gas sector in Espírito Santo. Held from April 8 to 10 at the Vitória Convention Center, the event attracted over 7,000 visitors, featured 52 exhibitors across a 1,500 m² area, and hosted 60 speakers in an intense three-day schedule focused on innovation, sustainability, and new business opportunities in the energy sector.
Billion-Dollar Deals and Investments in the Energy Sector
Vitória Petroshow 2025 generated significant business volume: nearly BRL 1 billion in immediate deals, especially during the matchmaking rounds between operators and qualified companies. According to Manoel Passos (pictured), president of Acespetro, the signed contracts reflect the event’s maturity and the technical and financial readiness of the suppliers involved.
Petrobras alone announced investments totaling BRL 35 billion. Including all operators and alternative energy sources, the total investment expected for Espírito Santo over the next five years exceeds BRL 98 billion, according to data from the Jones dos Santos Neves Institute (IJSN). Vitória Petroshow thus reinforces its strategic role in Brazil’s national energy landscape.
Strengthening the Supply Chain and Institutional Support
“With each edition, Vitória Petroshow proves its strength as a bridge between companies, investors, and public institutions. In 2025, we grew in terms of infrastructure, content, and, above all, in delivering concrete results for Brazil’s oil, gas, and energy supply chain,” said Manoel Passos, president of Acespetro and event organizer.
This year’s Master Sponsors were Petrobras and Prio, who directly supported the event’s execution and expansion in 2025. Other sponsors and strategic partners included Shell, Vibra Energia, Porto Central, Sebrae/ES, and OceanPact, which actively promoted the concept of decarbonization through its participation, reinforcing the sector’s commitment to sustainability and environmental innovation.
Sustainability in Focus at the ESG Arena
At the ESG Arena, OceanPact brought forward critical discussions about the future of the industry, including environment, social responsibility, and governance. “Talking about sustainability in the oil and gas sector is urgent. The energy transition inevitably requires investments in technologies and practices that respect the environment. Vitória Petroshow has become an important space for this kind of reflection,” highlighted Amanda Duque, ESG coordinator at OceanPact.
Petrobras Reaffirms Its Commitment to Espírito Santo
For Guilherme Sargenti, general manager of Petrobras’ Business Unit, the company’s presence at the event underscores its strategic role in regional development. “Petrobras has a long-standing presence in Espírito Santo, and participating in Vitória Petroshow is a way of reaffirming our commitment to the future of energy, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. It’s the ideal setting for sharing experiences and building partnerships,” he said.
Micro and Small Businesses Take the Spotlight
A highlight of the event was the Business Roundtable organized by Sebrae/ES and Rede Petro-ES, which held over 600 meetings between anchor companies and local suppliers, creating valuable opportunities for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
“Vitória Petroshow is a strategic platform for connecting micro and small enterprises with major operators and suppliers in the oil and gas supply chain. Sebrae has been working intensively to qualify these entrepreneurs and enhance their competitiveness, fostering real market connections,” stated Ana Karla Macabu, manager of the Competitiveness and Productivity Unit at Sebrae/ES.
