Connecting the energy and O&G industry to new generations and listening to what they have to say, generating opportunities to foster an increasingly innovative, diverse, transparent and sustainable industry. These are some of the proposals at the Young Summit, a new Rio Oil & Gas initiative aimed at the young audience.

Organized by the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP) and with Carla Diniz, Director of People and Management at NTS, as chair, the event will be 100% online and broadcast directly from Fábrica de Startups, in Rio de Janeiro, to the platform exclusive Rio Oil & Gas, between November 30 and December 2, 2021. Participants will be entitled to a certificate.

Content Pillars 

Young Summit will feature 12 free content sessions, with real-time interactions, divided into four thematic pillars.

The Career pillar, for example, will address trends and effective actions for professionalization and training to become protagonists in their own trajectory.

The Diversity & Inclusion discussions will bring to debate initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion by the industry and companies, in addition to encouraging the audience to be part of this collective construction.

The Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation pillar will present the possibility of looking at known problems and new challenges with more creativity, agility, clarity and connection with the purposes of a generation.

The Sustainability axis, on the other hand, invites young people to participate in the debate on the risks and role of the oil and gas sector in current dilemmas such as: leaving no one behind, the future that everyone wants and sustainable consumption.

To ensure inclusive and diversified discussions, the event's Organizing Committee has several partner institutions that work directly with young audiences or with prominent themes, such as Instituto Proa, École 42, Empodera, Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH), Cmov and MIT Reap.
