With just four weeks to go, excitement is building ahead of the Carbon Capture Technology Expo North America, returning to the NRG Center in Houston, Texas on June 25-26, 2025. This year’s event is shaping up to be the largest and most impactful CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage) conference in North America – with over 10,000 attendees, 550 exhibitors, and 250 expert speakers confirmed.

The 2025 edition will bring together the world’s leading engineers, policy makers, energy companies, and technology innovators for two days of high-impact networking, cutting-edge exhibitions, and in-depth discussions on the role of carbon capture in reaching net-zero targets.

With more speakers, more exhibitors, and more content than ever before, this year’s event reflects the rapid acceleration and increasing urgency of the carbon capture movement across the U.S. and globally. From groundbreaking innovations in direct air capture and storage, to critical updates on U.S. policy and tax incentives, the Expo offers a platform for industries to align, collaborate, and drive forward the energy transition.

The event is co-located with the Hydrogen Technology Expo North America, creating a powerful synergy across clean energy technologies and offering even more value to attendees. New for 2025, the show will also feature a dedicated Ammonia Technology Zone, highlighting the role of ammonia in decarbonization and its growing relevance in the clean fuels ecosystem.

"There has never been a more important time to talk about carbon capture," said Charlie Brandon, Event Director at Trans-Global Events. "With the U.S. scaling up investment, deploying billions through the Inflation Reduction Act, and committing to aggressive decarbonization goals, this year’s Expo comes at a pivotal moment for the CCUS sector."

Attendees can expect a diverse agenda covering everything from project deployment and permitting challenges to innovations in CO₂ utilization and transport infrastructure. Industry giants and emerging startups alike will showcase the latest technologies on the show floor, while a dynamic conference program will address pressing questions and emerging trends across five dedicated tracks.

To enhance your experience, the official event app is now available to download for all registered attendees — making it easier than ever to plan your visit, connect with other participants, and stay informed throughout the show.

Whether you’re a policymaker, investor, engineer, or business leader, the Carbon Capture Technology Expo North America 2025 is the place to be to shape the future of carbon capture and accelerate decarbonization efforts across heavy industry, energy, and beyond.
