Considering the measures to deal with the public health emergency of international importance, resulting from the new coronavirus (Covid-19), on 04/04/2020, the ANP issued Order No. 2/2020 / SIM-COI / SIM / ANP-RJ (SEI No. 0710797), which deals with the measurement of the transfer of custody of oil and natural gas in natural gas transportation facilities.

The order suspends the deadlines related to the calibration of primary and secondary elements of measurement of temperature and pressure and inspection of the measurement components, associated with transport pipelines, and listed in Tables 2 and 3 of Annex B of the Technical Regulation of Petroleum Measurement and Natural Gas (RTM) approved by ANP / Inmetro Resolution No. 1/2013.

The validity of the calibration and inspection certificates of the elements mentioned above that are about to expire in this period of implementation of measures to deal with the pandemic of the Covid-19 will be considered extended, for as long as the state of emergency of public health lasts. After the normalization of the activities, the term for new calibration or inspection of the elements will correspond to the remaining period for the expiration of such certificates, counted from the date of the aforementioned order.

The situation of suspension on screen does not exempt economic agents from carrying out their activities in order to maintain operational safety and protection of the environment.
