Present at OTC Houston 2026, the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan) showcases to Brazilian and international companies all the technological and innovation expertise of Firjan SENAI SESI. On the second day of the fair, prospecting meetings were held with Altave, Geowellex, and Tecnofink—companies based in other Brazilian states that showed interest in learning about SENAI's technological and R,D&I capabilities. Visits to the Firjan SENAI SESI Technology Park have already been scheduled for after the event in the United States.
Also at the Brazil Pavilion within OTC, Firjan SESI is promoting various regulatory training programs, such as the work-at-height simulator, among others. Furthermore, Firjan has intensified relationships with partner companies such as Baker Hughes, Infis Consultoria, MXM, Porto do Açu, Petrobras, and Transpetro, among others.
The federation is also responsible for curating the seven panels of the Brazil Session, bringing together companies, institutions, and specialists to debate the future of the oil and gas market in the country. Still this Tuesday (5/5), Firjan SENAI kicked off meetings for the first international edition of the Supplier Opportunity Network Program (RdO), in partnership with Sebrae RJ. More than 20 Q&A meetings were scheduled between demanding companies and potential suppliers.
"OTC Houston is the world's leading offshore technology fair. The companies here are suppliers to this market, part of this productive chain. Therefore, connecting this expertise with SENAI's service capacity, research lines, and innovation portfolio makes perfect sense when observing the reality of Rio de Janeiro," stated Thiago Valejo, Firjan's project manager for Oil, Gas, Energy, and Naval.
According to Valejo, this is an important bridge precisely because it promotes the rapprochement of SENAI and SESI with the oil and gas market. "And, mainly, regarding the solutions that our technology and innovation institutions have for this industry," he highlighted.
In addition to Firjan SENAI, ONIP's partners in organizing the Brazil Pavilion include PPSA, Sebrae RJ, the Federation of Industries of the State of Pará (Fiepa), the Federation of Industries of Espírito Santo (Findes), and the Economic Development Agency of Amapá. Sponsors and supporters include Domingues e Pinho Contadores (DPC), Infis Consultoria, MXM Sistemas, ANP, and Transpetro.
