Petrobras has announced that Board Member Luiz Nelson Guedes de Carvalho has requested leave of absence from his position as Chairman of the Company’s Audit Committee (COAUD) while he remains as Interim Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors approved this request and appointed Board Member Walter Mendes de Oliveira Filho as Chairman of the COAUD, during Nelson Carvalho’s leave of absence from this Committee.

In addition, Jeronimo Antunes, the alternate of Board Member Nelson Carvalho on Petrobras’ Board of Directors, was also appointed to the COAUD, which is now composed of the following members: Walter Mendes de Oliveira Filho (Chairman), Roberto da Cunha Castello Branco, Luiz Augusto Fraga Navarro de Britto Filho and Jeronimo Antunes.
