Petrobras, further to the Material Fact disclosed on 4/26/2018, reports that Mr. Rafael Mendes Gomes, elected by the company’s Board of Directors as Chief Governance and Compliance Executive Officer, took office today.

The executive will also be a member of the Special Committee, which since its formation is composed by two independent external members, Ms. Ellen Gracie Northfleet (Committee Chair) and Mr. Andreas Pohlmann, as well as Petrobras’ Chief Governance and Compliance Executive Officer.

The Committee was created in December 2014 to act as interlocutor of the independent investigations relating to the implications of the Car Wash Operation, as a direct reporting line to the Board of Directors.
