The ANP launched today (7/27) the Dynamic Panel for Decommissioning of Exploration and Production Facilities, a new interactive form of data visualization that uses a business intelligence (BI) tool.

Decommissioning of facilities is the set of activities associated with the definitive interruption of the operation of the facilities, the permanent abandonment and destruction of wells, the removal of facilities, the proper destination of materials, waste and tailings and the environmental recovery of the area. This deactivation can have different reasons, such as the return of the block / field to ANP or the end of the useful life of that installation.

The panel gathers information on commitments assumed by operators, via the Annual Work and Budget Program (PAT), in addition to the status of deliveries and analyzes of the Facilities Decommissioning Programs (PDIs). It is possible to apply filters by environment (sea or land), basin, field and status.

The tool also allows consulting the value of investments in activities related to decommissioning planned for the next five years, separated by year, basin and type of activity (such as demolition and abandonment of wells, recovery of areas and removal of equipment).
