Petrobras is finalizing negotiations with Mitsui Gas e Energia do Brasil Ltda to sell 49% of the holding company that will consolidate all Petrobras interests in Brazilian state natural gas distribution companies. This transaction is the outcome of a bidding procedure conducted as part of the Divestment Program in the 2015-2019 Business and Management Plan.

Completion of the deal is subject to the approval of the final terms and conditions by the Petrobras Executive Board and Board of Directors, as well as the Brazilian regulatory authorities.
