The largest multi-energy meeting in Brazil, iBEM 2026 – The International Meeting on Brazil’s Energy Market, began this Tuesday (24) and runs until Thursday (26) at the Salvador Convention Center (Bahia, Brazil). The event will present various forms of integrating renewable sources with conventional energy systems, bringing together professionals, companies, and institutions from different segments.

This is the second edition of iBEM, which features a diverse program designed to meet the needs of different audiences. The event includes four thematic arenas focused on Innovation, Investments, Business, and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). It will be a meeting point to discuss strategies in these areas within the energy sector, gathering top specialists.

The event will also feature an academic congress, technical sessions, and a space dedicated to professional development called “Future Talents,” in addition to conferences with national and international experts who will discuss topics such as energy transition, system integration, digitalization, and security.

A new feature this year will be the training courses, aimed at students, professionals, and individuals interested in the sector. One of the courses is titled “Energy sources – introductory concepts.” To participate, simply visit the website and check the various available options.

Entirely free of charge, iBEM 2026 also includes a Business Roundtable, where, with prior scheduling, buying companies and suppliers of products and services can meet. Another highlight is the technical visits, in which participants will have the opportunity to learn, at no cost, about the operations of various energy companies in Salvador and the Metropolitan Region.

In its first edition, the event welcomed representatives from 25 countries, and organizers expect this number to be surpassed due to the success of iBEM 2025. The estimated audience is 2,500 people over the three days of programming.

iBEM 2026 is organized by three Bahian energy companies: Austral, BrainMarket, and Eolus. Visit the website for more information.
