The Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute (IBP) is taking part in another edition of OTC Houston, the world’s largest offshore energy conference, which kicks off today and runs through May 8 in the United States.

On Monday, following the opening ceremony at 9:00 a.m. (local time), IBP President Roberto Ardenghy will attend the inauguration of the traditional Brazil Pavilion at 11:00 a.m. Later in the day, at 2:00 p.m., he will serve as chairperson and moderator of the panel Setting the Scene in Brazil: An Anticipation of What Is Coming, which will feature Petrobras President Magda Chambriard. To conclude the day, he will also attend the Brazil Energy Meeting at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m., Ardenghy will take part in the “Maritime Industries Connections: Brazil Offshore Energy Sector – Roundtable Business Meeting”, organized in partnership with Sinaval and ApexBrasil, and presented by Petrobras. The event is sponsored by SLB, with support from Abimaq, Abeemar, and Onip. Several other associations and companies have also confirmed attendance, including Abemi, Abespetro, ABCE, and Transpetro.

On Wednesday, at 7:00 a.m., he will attend the BRATECC Welcome Reception, and in the afternoon, IBP will support the charity dinner “A Night to Remember”, held in the Grand Lobby of the Hobby Center. With the theme “United by Culture Against Human Trafficking”, the event aims to raise funds for redM and The Houston 20, two organizations dedicated to preventing and combating human trafficking.

On Thursday, at 8:30 a.m., Ardenghy will join the panel “Adjusting Internal Initiatives under President Trump’s New Guideline and Impacts in Brazil”, also hosted by BRATECC.
