Sulgás surpassed 60,000 customers in July. The segment that contributes most to this increase is the residential segment, with 58,516 units consuming natural gas. Virtually 60% of the contracts with the residential market come from the Company's excellent relationship with construction companies, which choose to design their new projects with the supply of natural gas. The other 40% are inhabited condominiums and single-family homes, which undergo the process of converting facilities and equipment to use NG.

In addition to residential customers, Sulgás ended July serving 167 industries, 1,308 commercial customers, 90 CNG stations, 30 customers in the segment that includes cogeneration, air conditioning and generation, and two cogeneration customers included in the Priority Thermoelectricity Program.

As it is an essential service, the commercialization, distribution and expansion projects of the natural gas network continue without interruption. With almost 40 km of works carried out between January and July 2020, in 11 cities, Sulgás has increased its network to 1,250 km in total. The Company is currently present in 42 municipalities.
