In RS, preventive measures are adopted by Sulgás to contain the Coronavirus

Based on the decrees published by the State Government of Rio Grande do Sul, due to Covid-19, Sulgás has adopted measures to adapt its activities to the scenario, without compromising the company's operation. These actions are being carried out to preserve the integrity of its employees, customers and suppliers and to meet the recommendations of public agencies aiming to contain the spread of the virus.

 

Training and training, participation in events and international and national trips, face-to-face service to suppliers and third parties and other interactions with the external public will be suspended for 30 days from March 16, 2020 (except for exceptions evaluated) by the Board), in addition to face-to-face meetings with more than six people and other containment measures provided for in state decrees related to the direct and indirect public administration of the State.

 

Until March 31, 2020, home office activities may be developed, according to internal rules and disclosed in the media with the workforce, in order to reduce the circulation of people in the Company's headquarters, in Porto Alegre. and the operational bases of Canoas and Caxias do Sul.

 

Sulgás informs that the distribution of natural gas will normally follow, without interruptions, to all consumers and customers. The network operation favors and facilitates the delivery of energy during emergency situations such as the current one, ensuring that hospitals, gas stations, homes and industries have access to NG continuously. The 0800 54 197 00 service channel remains available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to answer questions and meet any demands from Sulgás customers and consumers during the period.
