T&B Petroleum/Press Office Moge
Mossoró is preparing to host a milestone edition marking the 10th anniversary of Mossoró Oil & Gas Energy (MOGE), considered the largest onshore oil and gas event in Brazil and one of the most relevant in Latin America. For the first time, the event will take place at the Partage Shopping Mossoró Events Arena, from the 25th to the 27th of this month, featuring an expanded structure and an intensive program focused on innovation, sustainability, and regional development.
Supported by Sebrae-RN and the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid (Ufersa), the event will occupy a 6,498-square-meter area—a 40% increase compared to the previous edition—and will bring together more than 200 booths, in addition to thematic arenas, exhibitions, workshops, symposiums, and business rounds.
Opening
The event will make Mossoró the stage for debates on the present and future of Brazil’s energy matrix. On Tuesday, the 25th, the VI Brazilian Onshore Oil and Gas Symposium will open the program with discussions on efficiency in well interventions and the role of fishing operations in well activities. The PetroSupply Meeting will also begin, launching business rounds focused on the supply chain.
On the same day, the PetroReconcavo Oil and Gas Arena begins its activities, hosting conferences on sector synergies, decarbonization of the transportation matrix, and analyses of the industry’s economic impact on producing municipalities.
The Senai Thematic Arena will also debut on the first day, encompassing the ESG Arena and the Innovation Arena, with discussions on ESG and technological innovation among operators. The official opening ceremony will also take place on the 25th, at 6 p.m.
Second Day
The program for Wednesday, the 26th, will feature technical visits to oilfield facilities and Ufersa laboratories or to the Municipal Oil Museum. There will also be conferences on new onshore exploration frontiers and the Equatorial Margin, as well as perspectives on oil production in Rio Grande do Norte and the role of energy in data centers.
Other attractions on the second day include Startup Day and debates on a just energy transition, hosted at the Senai Thematic Arena. The business fair will continue with displays of industry solutions and technologies, while the PetroSupply Meeting will carry on with business rounds.
Closing
The final day of the event, Thursday the 27th, will be marked by a technical workshop, a symposium, and presentations of academic papers. Conferences are also scheduled on professional training, environmental regulation, digital security, and the expansion of natural gas distribution within the Northeast.
The SENAI Arena will conclude with debates on the role of local ICTs and opportunities for social transformation in Mossoró and the surrounding region. The full program is available at https://www.mossorooilgas.com.br/
