Petrobras announced today (1st) a new increase in the prices of gasoline, diesel oil and canister gas sold at refineries. Starting tomorrow (2), gasoline will be 4.8% more expensive, that is, R $ 0.12 per liter. With that, the fuel will be sold to distributors for R $ 2.60 per liter.

Diesel oil will increase by 5%: R $ 0.13 per liter. With the readjustment, the price for distributors will be R $ 2.71 per liter starting tomorrow.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), known as bottled gas or cooking gas, will be 5.2% more expensive as of tomorrow. The price for distributors will be R $ 3.05 per kilo (R $ 0.15 more expensive), that is R $ 36.69 per 13 kg (or R $ 1.90 more expensive).

According to Petrobras, its prices are based on the value of the product in the international market and on the exchange rate.

“It is also important to note that the values practiced in refineries by Petrobras are different from those perceived by the end consumer in retail. Until it reaches the consumer, federal and state taxes are added, costs for the purchase and mandatory mixing of biofuels by the distributors, in the case of gasoline and diesel, in addition to the costs and margins of the distribution companies and fuel resellers ”, highlights a note released by the company .
