Palfinger Marine is proud to announce the delivery of the first offshore cranes sent to Jurong Shipyard in Aracruz, Brazil, last week, being part of the largest order in the history of PALFINGER AG with a value of 90 Million Euros.

This is the first of seven sets consisting of four cranes each, being two Electro Hydraulic Knuckle Boom Cranes with 85 metric tons capacity @ 20 meters radius, and two Electro Hydraulic Wire Luffing Lattice Boom Cranes with 63 metric tons capacity @ 35 meters radius.

These cranes will be installed on Jurong’s first drillship built in Brazil, out of seven contracted with the shipyard. The cranes were manufactured by Palfinger Dreggen in a Joint Venture with the Brazilian company Koch Metalúrgica with 60% local content.
