In November, oil and natural gas production operated by Petrobras in the pre-salt layer increased 1.8% from the previous month, reaching a daily average of 1.023 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), up from 1.005 million boed in October.
Oil production operated by Petrobras in the pre-salt layer in November amounted to an average of 820,000 barrels per day (bpd), up 1.3% from 809,000 bpd in October.
Oil and natural gas production in November
Average oil and natural gas output in Brazil and other countries in November was 2.71 million boed, down 1.8% from 2.76 million boed in October, due to shutdowns of production facilities during the oil workers’ strike.
Despite these interruptions, the company confirms its Brazilian oil production target of 2.125 million barrels per day for 2015 as a whole.

Average oil production in Brazil in November was 2.07 million (bpd), down 1.4% from 2.10 million bpd the previous month.
Natural gas output in the country, excluding liquefied volumes, was 71.7 million m³/day, down 4% from 74.7 million m³/day in October.
As a result, Petrobras’ oil and gas production in Brazil in November amounted to 2.52 million (boed), down 1.9% from 2.57 million boed in October.
Oil and gas production in other countries
In November, Petrobras produced 190,000 boed in countries other than Brazil, down 2.4% from 194,000 boed the previous month. This reduction is mainly due to operations to clean production lines in the Saint Malo field and platform maintenance in the Lucius and Hadrian South fields, in the United States.
Average oil production in November was 96,000 bpd, down 3.7% from 99,000 bpd in October, due to the aforementioned reasons.
Average natural gas output outside Brazil was 16.0 million m³/day, down 1% from 16.1 million m³/day the previous month.
