Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025 is hosting the largest edition in its history, with a 43% increase in exhibition space and more than 100 companies in attendance. The event, taking place through September 11 at ExpoRio Cidade Nova in Rio de Janeiro, brings together experts and players from across the oil, gas, and logistics value chain, offering a comprehensive overview of the innovations and technological solutions that are transforming the sector.
Among the technological highlights at the exhibition, HGS is presenting Laserpro Scan, a system developed for natural gas leak detection using infrared laser technology. Easy to install on any vehicle, it can instantly alert to the presence of leaks. TAG is showcasing MAGO, an automated operational management monitoring tool that enhances transparency and predictability of operations while offering immersive virtual reality experiences in the company’s assets. Omni Unmanned, the drone division of Grupo OHI, is exhibiting large-scale drone solutions for pipeline inspection and monitoring. These drones can operate in remote areas, cut carbon emissions by up to 95%, and replace helicopters in a range of missions, including offshore cargo transport and environmental monitoring.
The exhibition also features a program of case study presentations and debates on innovation, safety, and sustainability in the sector. Companies are using the opportunity to demonstrate how their technologies help increase efficiency, reduce costs, enhance operational safety, and support Brazil’s energy transition. In addition, the exhibition floor provides opportunities for direct interaction with products, allowing industry professionals to experience firsthand the solutions that are transforming the country’s logistics and energy infrastructure.
Among the highlights, the IBP booth stands out as a networking and relationship hub, offering special activations designed for visitors. With unique experiences and interactive activities that include prize opportunities, the space is staffed by a multidisciplinary team ready to welcome member companies, answer questions about products and services, present upcoming events, and provide guidance for those interested in becoming members. The booth reinforces the Institute’s role as a strategic connector and promoter of initiatives that drive the oil and gas industry forward.
