On January 28, the first contract for natural gas transportation service in interruptible mode was signed, using the Novo Mercado de Gas entry and exit model. The draft contract was approved by the ANP on January 22, 2001. according to ANP Resolution No. 11/2016.

The contract, signed between Transportadora Associada de Gás SA - TAG and Proquigel Química SA - Proquigel, provides for the supply, from 1/29, of 2.3 million m³ / day of natural gas to two fertilizer factories ( Fafens) operated by the petrochemical company in the states of Bahia and Sergipe. Effective gas delivery is expected to start in March, with an average flow of 1.1 million m³ / day for the Sergipe plant and 1.2 million for the Bahia plant.

The draft contract approved by the ANP and other documents related to the topic can be accessed at the Electronic Information System - SEI, in process No. 48610.205586 / 2020-05. ANP Resolution No. 11/2016 determines that the transport company will have up to 15 days, counting from the date of its signature, to register the contract with the Agency.
