On September 16 and 17, Abiquim will hold the 18th Responsible Care Congress (18º Congresso de Atuação Responsável), at the Novotel Center Norte, in São Paulo.

The biennial event brings together an audience of approximately 600 participants, including professionals from national and foreign companies, representatives of the government, academia, civil society, scientists, NGOs and unions to discuss topics related to the Responsible Care Program®, a worldwide voluntary commitment by the chemical industry , which promotes continuous improvement in the areas of health, safety, environment and sustainability.

The Congress program promotes the debate and integration of professionals and the discussion of topics that impact industry and society. “At each edition we have included strategic content in the Congress, with the objective of helping professionals in the sector to be prepared to adapt to the new laws and demands of society”, explains the director of Technical Affairs at Abiquim, Andréa Carla Barreto Cunha.

In addition to panels, debates and courses, the event reserves an exhibition area for suppliers of products and services aimed at the sector.
