The Japanese Modec of the oil and gas segment that operates 10 vessels in the Brazilian offshore estimates to open, by 2024, 600 new jobs between the onshore and offshore areas. This represents an expansion of 25% of the current workforce in the next four years. Only for 2021, 85 new vacancies are projected. The vacancies are destined to the offshore segment and to administrative functions in Rio de Janeiro, Macaé (RJ) and Santos (SP).

To participate in the selection processes, candidates must access the careers section on the MODEC website (www.modec.com/careers) and choose the opportunities available to Brazil to register their resume. From this registration, participants will be able to compete in all selection processes in which they meet the indicated prerequisites. New opportunities will be announced on the company's portal and LinkedIn according to needs.

The hiring seeks to support the expansion of the company's fleet, as well as fill vacancies made available by promotions and internal transfers. At the moment, Modec is developing five platforms for the country, two of which will start operating in 2021: the FPSO Carioca MV30, which is already on its way to Brazil, and the FPSO Guanabara MV31. Both will operate in the Campos Basin and each will be able to produce 180,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The other three vessels under development are the FPSO Almirante Barroso MV32, the FPSO Anita Garibaldi MV33 and the FPSO Bacalhau.

“With the entry into operation of new vessels, we are experiencing a moment of expansion and we are looking for people willing to embrace the challenges of the oil and gas sector. With platform operation contracts that span more than two decades and a solid history of operations, we offer opportunities for long careers, development and great learning in the sector ”, says Modec's People Manager, Henrique Toledo.

A reference in the oil and gas sector, Modec will give future professionals the possibility of being in contact with the most modern production systems in deep waters. This year, the company was selected by the World Economic Forum to join the Global Lighthouse Network, a community of manufacturers leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the use of digital technologies. Modec also offers its employees an attractive package of benefits and possibilities for professional development.
