The ANP will participate in Bahia Oil & Gas Energy 2026, which will be held from May 27 to 29 at the Salvador Convention Center, in the capital of Bahia. The Agency will have representatives in the conference program and will host a booth at the exhibition.
The Director-General, Artur Watt, will represent the ANP at the opening of the event on 5/27. The Agency's agenda at the meeting also includes participation in panels on strategic topics for the oil and natural gas sector, highlighting the impacts of global geopolitics on the upstream sector (exploration and production segment) in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil.
There will also be a specific seminar on the ANP Human Resources Training Program (PRH/ANP), which will bring together researchers, universities, and industry representatives to present studies and projects aimed at technological development and professional training for the sector.
Workshop on the new Technical Measurement Regulation (RTM)
On May 28, at 9 a.m., the ANP, in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Independent Oil and Gas Producers (ABPIP), will hold the 2nd ABPIP+ANP Workshop – Measurement in Focus: the new RTM and its applicability to independent producers.
The meeting will address the new Technical Regulation for Petroleum and Natural Gas Measurement and its impacts on independent operators, promoting technical debates, regulatory clarifications, and the exchange of experiences between ANP specialists and industry representatives.
The workshop will be held in person at the Main Arena of the South Wing of the Salvador Convention Center, in Salvador (BA). The recording of the event will be made available later on ABPIP's YouTube channel.
