Since Monday (10/19), the ANP has carried out a task force with ANTT, ANTAQ and IBAMA in Ceará. The objective is to assess the circulation of fuels, the origin and destination, invoices, certificates of analysis and collect samples to check the quality of fuels. To date, there has been no record of an infraction notice by the ANP.

The operation consolidates the partnership between the ANP and other regulatory bodies, which have diverse but complementary competencies. This initiative aims to increase control in the circulation and movement of fuel corridors and improve the flow of information between agencies, which expands the Agency's knowledge of the market dynamics.

From 19 to 21/10, inspections were carried out in the vicinity of the ports of Mucuripe (Fortaleza) and Pecém (São Gonçalo do Amarante), with eight fuel and LPG transport trucks being approached. On 10/21, the operation also had the participation of the Municipal Traffic and Citizenship Authority of Fortaleza (AMC). Today (10/22), the teams are at the Federal Highway Police (PRF) fiscal post, which also participates in the action, in the municipality of Itaitinga.
