The ANP is inspecting fields with marginal accumulations that are being evaluated in order to include them in the Permanent Offer. The objective is to inventory and evaluate the conditions of the wells and other existing structures.

The first inspection was in the onshore fields with marginal accumulations of Barra do Ipiranga, Jacupemba, Mariricu Oeste, Nativo Oeste, Barra Seca River, Ibiribas River, Itaúnas Leste River and São Mateus Oeste River, located in the Espírito Santo Basin.

With these surveys, ANP meets a market demand. They will be carried out periodically, as new areas with marginal accumulations become available in the Permanent Offer. For 2020, there will be at least two more activities in this model, aiming to attract new investments in development and production, including improving the information contained in the Summary of Areas, allowing companies that are interested in acquiring them, to have a better view of what is being offered.

In compliance with the provisions of CNPE Resolution No. 17/17, these areas will be analyzed for environmental feasibility by the competent environmental bodies and agreed in a Joint Statement, before their inclusion in the Permanent Offer.
