As part of ANP's actions aimed at the transition of the natural gas industry to a competitive market, on October 10, 2012, the Agency sent a letter to the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).

The Technical Note no. 14/2018-SIM, which addresses the market power exercised by Petrobras in the natural gas industry, describes the dynamics present in the different segments of the industry and identifies the measures necessary to promote competition.
