The ANP signed a technical and operational cooperation agreement with the Institute of Weights and Measures of the State of Rio de Janeiro - Ipem -RJ for the inspection of fuel supply activities.

The agreement has a duration of four years and provides for inspection actions, individually or jointly with the ANP; training servers in procedures necessary for actions taken; exchange of information regarding activities related to the inspection of companies operating in the fuel market; and carrying out georeferencing actions, which consist of determining the location of market agents (latitude and longitude), facilitating inspection work.

The alliance with organs of the state or municipal spheres contributes to the better fulfillment of the ANP's legal attributions, through the union of efforts between bodies with common objectives in meeting the demands of society. The agreement extract was published in the Federal Official Gazette last Tuesday (8/4).
