The ANP approved today (4/3) the inclusion of an exclusive marketing stage for small producers that hold the social biofuel seal as of the 79th Biodiesel Auction (L79), according to MME Ordinance No. 311/2018.

The public notices currently establish that the event is divided into stages. The third stage, in which distributors dispute the batches of biodiesel offered by producers holding the social biofuel seal, will now be divided into two phases: 3A and 3B. During stage 3A, fuel distributors will only be able to purchase biodiesel from small producers that hold the social biofuel seal, while in stage 3B they will be able to purchase the balance not negotiated in Step 3A, along with the volume offered by the other plants that hold the biofuel seal.
