The opening day of Bahia Oil & Gas Energy (BOGE25) exceeded expectations—not only due to the large audience that filled the Salvador Convention Center, but also thanks to the high quality of the lectures and academic presentations showcased in various spaces throughout the event. The fair continues this Thursday (29) and Friday (30), from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., with free admission and registration available at www.bahiaoilgasenergy.com.br.

During the opening ceremony, event organizer Nicolás Honorato emphasized that the main goal is to highlight the potential of Northern and Northeastern Brazil—regions with unique characteristics not found elsewhere in the country. “We want to take the North and Northeast to the world,” he stated. He also expressed gratitude to the sponsors who believe in the event’s power to further elevate their brands.

The opening also featured tributes to professionals who have made and continue to make outstanding contributions to the development of the sector: Cícero Paixão, Adary Oliveira, Eduardo Cintra Santos, and Willian Alber Farias, the latter being awarded for the best scientific paper of the conference. The inaugural lecture, delivered by expert Anabal Santos Jr., addressed the topic "The Oil and Natural Gas Industry and the Turbulence of Brazil’s Energy Market."

BOGE is the largest oil and gas event in Northern and Northeastern Brazil, gathering representatives from all Brazilian states and 20 countries. The event includes two major conferences, a business expo, three thematic arenas, a scientific congress, technical sessions, business roundtables, and technical visits.

This is the third edition of BOGE, which is now firmly established on both the national and international events calendar, reflecting the strength and vitality of the oil and gas sector in Northern and Northeastern Brazil
