The Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy gave the green light to four wind power projects with a combined capacity of 106.2 MW to issue infrastructure debentures.
With the permits, the projects now have priority status, which is needed to speed up their implementation, according to decrees published on Wednesday by the national power sector watchdog Aneel.

Sao Bento do Norte I and III plants are controled by special purpose entities (SPE) owned by Brazilian power utility Copel (BVMF:CPLE6). The Cristalandia wind farms belong to Italian energy company Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL).
