The division will be aligned with Curtiss-Wright Industrial’s Farris Engineering business unit to create Farris Brazil Industria de Valvulas Ltda.

“Farris Brazil will consolidate sales, operations, manufacturing, service and repair in one location to service Farris’ large installed base of pressure relief valves within Brazil, as well as all our South and Central American customers, bringing a new level of efficiency to those relationships,” said Kevin Rayment, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Curtiss-Wright Industrial division.

Farris Brazil will produce pressure relief valves designed and capacity-certified in accordance with ASME Code, Brazilian and international standards. The business currently manufactures a proprietary brand of pressure relief valves for the Brazilian petroleum, petrochemical, sugar cane and chemical industries.

Under the leadership of Pedro Lima Dias, Director, Sales and Operations, the Farris Brazil sales force will provide local support to the Farris network of independent representatives throughout South and Central America. As the first Farris Authorized Service Team (FAST) Center in the region, the Sao Carlos operation is prepared to meet customer service needs with factory-trained technicians, ASME-certified test equipment, an extensive local inventory backed by global inventory, and expedited shipments during plant outages and downtimes. Farris Engineering maintains an international network of more than 40 FAST Centers to service customers worldwide
