In February 2021, Brazilian oil and natural gas production in the Pre-salt was approximately 2.6 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe / d). This volume represented 73.14% of the country's total, the highest percentage of Pre-salt participation in national production ever recorded. Total Brazilian production was 3.55 million boe / d.

The Búzios and Tupi fields stand out in the Pre-salt. Búzios, from the Transfer of Rights, started to grow again, totaling around 673 thousand boe / d. This number represented 19% of the total national production in the period, taking the production of the Transfer of Rights to 22.37% of the total in the Country.

Campo de Tupi, on the other hand, remains the largest producer, with 32.8% of national production (approximately 1.2 million boe / d).

The data are available on the ANP's Dynamic Panel for Oil and Natural Gas Production, here.

This month, a new feature on the Panel was inaugurated: animated graphics with production rankings by field, basin, environment (post-salt, pre-salt and land) and bidding round.
