The EIC is glad to announce the Breakfast in Rio with Acelen to present on 'O&M opportunities at Mataripe Refinery'.

Acelen is an important agent in the evolution of the Brazilian energy sector and is responsible for supplying over half of Northeastern Brazil. The company has more than 31 products, most of which crucial for various sectors of the economy, such as the chemical industry and the entire petrochemical chain.

Join us to hear from the company who has become the newest owner of the Mataripe Refinery, in operation since 1950. For nearly three decades, it was responsible for producing up to 25% of national demand. Currently, the Mataripe Refinery has the capacity to process over 300,000 barrels of oil per day, equal to 14% of Brazil’s total refining capacity and over half of the supply for the entire Northeastern region of Brazil.
