The resumption of investments in vessels and the increase in offshore activity in Brazil are driving the maritime services supply chain and creating new opportunities for companies supporting oil and gas operations. Against this backdrop, Camorim Serviços Marítimos arrives at ROG.e 2026, taking place from September 21 to 24 at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, with more than R$ 250 million already invested in 2026 to expand and modernize its fleet.

The investment includes four new azimuthal tugboats, a Fast Supply Vessel (FSV), and one of the largest sheerlegs in Latin America. The strategy follows a market that is once again demanding new vessels and specialized services to support the growth of maritime activities. The company expects to make further investments later this year.

In the offshore segment, Camorim currently operates 24 support vessels. Its fleet includes platform supply vessels (PSVs), oil spill response vessels (OSRVs), line handlers (LHs), a multipurpose support vessel (MPSV), and a Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) recently acquired.

The industry’s momentum is also reflected in Petrobras’ plans. In May this year, the company signed R$ 11 billion in contracts for the construction, chartering and operation of four offshore support vessels, with an estimated 7,000 direct and indirect jobs expected to be generated. Petrobras’ 2026–2030 Business Plan also foresees the chartering of 40 new support vessels to renew the fleet supporting exploration and production activities.

For Camorim, this scenario represents an opportunity to expand its participation in a supply chain entering a new investment cycle. The company has been diversifying its operations and expanding its capacity to meet the different demands of maritime activities.
