The digitization of asset decommissioning activities is the biggest congress of the Naval and Offshore sector in Latin America this year. "Some examples of the added value that digitization solutions can bring to asset decommissioning are preparation for processes, a standard collaborative simulation approach in a virtual space environment, supply chain support and eliminating additional costs due to unforeseen circumstances. due to lack of data and access problems, in addition to reducing field visits ", highlights Nascimento. "The digitization process will help towards cost and time certainty, in addition to providing the opportunity to evaluate alternative scenarios, approaches and technologies."

Leonardo Sant'Anna meets specialists, researchers and academics to discuss the impacts of technological advances in the sector with the lecture Digitization & Decommissioning, which will take place on the 28th, at 9 am, at the 28th International Congress on Water Transport, Shipbuilding and Offshore.
