The Federation of Industries of Espírito Santo (Findes), through its Findes Observatory, launched on Tuesday (April 8), in partnership with the State Government, the 8th edition of the Oil and Natural Gas Industry Yearbook of Espírito Santo. The event took place at Palácio Anchieta, in Vitória, bringing together government officials, industry representatives, and strategic partners.

The publication, a recognized reference in the field, consolidates key data, analyses, and projections for the oil and gas industry in Espírito Santo. This new edition provides production forecasts through 2030, along with detailed information on planned investments, the number of drilled wells, royalty revenues, special participation revenues, and other relevant indicators for the sector’s development.

“This Yearbook reflects the depth of knowledge about a highly significant industry: the oil and gas sector. It’s a thriving sector that generates numerous jobs and contributes immensely to the public sector. Consequently, the Yearbook allows us to demonstrate the true importance of the oil and gas industry to the productive sector and to society as a whole. It accurately reflects the actions and historical evolution of the oil and gas sector in Espírito Santo,”
emphasized Paulo Baraona (pictured), President of Findes.

The initiative is supported by several prominent institutions and organizations, including the Capixaba Forum of Oil, Gas and Energy (FCPGE), Sebrae/ES, the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP), the National Organization of the Oil and Gas Industry (Onip), the Brazilian Association of Independent Oil and Gas Producers (Abpip), and the Energy Research Office (EPE).

“The oil and gas segment has been one of the most important in generating jobs and opportunities for Espírito Santo’s industry and plays a vital role in our development. The Federation of Industries provides yet another opportunity for a broad assessment of the economic and social impact of the oil and gas sector in Espírito Santo,” highlighted Ricardo Ferraço, Vice-Governor of Espírito Santo.

Since 2017, Findes, in partnership with FCPGE and through the Findes Observatory, has been responsible for the production of this Yearbook, which has become a strategic tool for entrepreneurs, investors, and public policymakers. The publication supports transparency, planning, and the strengthening of the oil and gas value chain in the state.

With a growing sector and optimistic forecasts for the coming years, Espírito Santo reaffirms its national leadership in the oil and gas industry, aiming to combine economic development with sustainability and innovation.
