He reiterated the vision that the global energy transition must respect the needs and conditions of each country, region and location .

The Minister recalled that Brazil has been on the path of energy transition and decarbonization since the 1970s, and that the country has been advancing rapidly in the full use of the potential of bioenergy, wind, solar and, more recently, hydrogen, among other sources energy. The biofuels sector and, in particular, the Fuel of the Future program, which aims to promote second-generation biofuels, fuel cells, biogas and aviation biokeresene, among others, were commented on by the Minister.

Brazil will double its natural gas production by the end of the decade, with more than US$ 20 billion in investments in terminals, processing and transport units, while creating conditions to stimulate demand and use of the natural resources of the country. pre-salt and other onshore basins.
