Five days after the latest increase in the price of gasoline, Petrobras has just announced that as of tomorrow (5), at refineries all over the country, the price of the derivative will be 1.68% more expensive. With the new increase, the price of a liter of gasoline will increase from R$ 1.1704, which has been in effect since last Saturday (1st), to R$ 2.2069. It is the highest value charged for the liter price of gasoline since June last year, when Petrobras changed its pricing policy and started to follow the fluctuations of the commodity price in the foreign market.
"The average prices informed consider the national arithmetic average of the spot prices, free of charge and without taxes, practiced in the modality of sale standard in the various points of supply, that vary throughout the national territory, more or less than the average . This variation can be up to 12% for gasoline A, "Petrobras reports.
Last Friday, after three months of freezing as a result of a government agreement that ended the truck drivers' strike and involved government subsidy to the product, Petrobras announced a 13% increase in the average price of diesel sold at the country's refineries .
